Mechanical Restoration Services
Classic, Street Rods, Collector, and Brass Era cars; we love to work on them all.

We can and do work on newer models of vehicles but one of our shop specialties is the mechanical restoration of automobiles 1980 and older. A combined 135 years of experience in mechanical restoration and repair services combined with the use of current technologies, makes Headquarters staff uniquely qualified to get any job, large or small, done to precision. We have heard countless horror stories from vehicle owners who believed the local neighborhood garage could perform a simple upgrade or fix something basic on their car only to find out those shops didn’t really know about their car and a computer couldn’t tell the mechanics what to do. Headquarters has the experience, history and dedication to details with these cars to get the job done right and get you back in the driver’s seat.

    Resources

At Headquarters, we have a large collection of shop/body manuals dating back to the 1900’s. These manuals allow our mechanics to be efficient and effective in working on your car taking the guess work out of repairs and saving you time and money.
By having our own machine shop we have a unique advantage over other shops. Not only can we mill, hone, and bore parts right on site, we can actually make some parts. Our cleaning and testing equipment are second none. Making sure the job is done right the first time is our number one goal.
Need a little help getting your car to our shop. We can pick-up and/or delivery your car.
    Winter Rates
Here in Minnesota we have so few driving days that no one wants to have their car tied up during the driving months of May through September. We would be happy to trailer your car to our shop during the non-driving months and work with you to complete your repair or restoration project.
